Holly is an associate in Carey Olsen’s corporate team in Bermuda. She advises on all aspects of Bermuda corporate and finance transactions, with a particular focus on the insurance and reinsurance sector.
Holly advises on a wide range of corporate matters involving Bermuda entities, including local, exempted, permit, segregated/incorporated segregated accounts companies, partnerships and limited liability companies. She has experience in corporate governance, restructurings, debt financings, equity capital raisings, insurance-linked securities, mergers and acquisitions, licensing, regulatory compliance, and other corporate matters and insurance related transactions.
Holly is a key member of Carey Olsen Bermuda’s solvent liquidations team and regularly advises clients on all aspects of solvent liquidations.
Career
Prior to joining Carey Olsen in Bermuda, Holly was an associate in the corporate team in London at international law firm, Osborne Clarke LLP.
Holly obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from Loughborough University in 2007 and worked as a creative project manager in the fashion and entertainment industry in London. In 2015, Holly began her legal training and obtained a Graduate Diploma in Law from the University of Law in 2016 and a MSc in Law, Business and Management from the University of Law (with distinction) in 2017.
Holly was admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales in September 2021.
