Lyndsay is a senior associate in the property team in Jersey. She advises clients on a wide range of commercial real estate work, including acquisitions and disposals, property development, landlord and tenant matters, investments and asset management,

Lyndsay also has significant experience in construction and infrastructure projects including both ground-mounted and roof-mounted solar developments.  She also frequently provides property law support to our corporate and banking teams in respect of high value, multi-jurisdictional mergers and acquisitions and corporate financing, as well as acting for a significant number of lenders in respect of residential and commercial loans.

Career

Lyndsay received her undergraduate degree at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana before moving to the UK to complete the Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, London, followed by a master’s degree in International and Comparative Business Law. She is an English-qualified solicitor and a member of the Law Society of England and Wales.  Lyndsay is currently studying the Jersey law course at the Institute of Law in order to qualify as a Jersey advocate.

Prior to joining Carey Olsen in 2019, Lyndsay was a solicitor in the London office of a top 100 UK law firm.

Relevant experience

  • advising Jersey Electricity on its solar development projects throughout Jersey;
  • advising Jersey Cricket on their lease of premises to establish the National Cricket Centre for Jersey;
  • advising major financial institutions and trust companies on their lease arrangements in Jersey;
  • advising developers in respect of major mixed-use developments in Jersey;
