Oliver is an associate in the dispute resolution and litigation team at Carey Olsen Bermuda Limited. He maintains a broad practice which includes regulatory and trust disputes as well as general commercial litigation.
Career
Oliver obtained a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Economics from the Australian National University. He was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, Australia, in 2019 and the High Court of Australia in 2020.
Prior to joining Carey Olsen Bermuda, Oliver was a lawyer at a leading Australian law firm where he specialised in complex commercial and regulatory disputes. He practised in a broad range of matters focussed on financial services, cybersecurity and general commercial litigation. This included defending corporate and individual clients against regulatory action by Australian government regulators, insurance disputes, anti-money laundering/counter-terrorism financing cases, claims for breaches of directors' duties, shareholder disputes, market disclosure disputes and trust litigation.
