The Legal 500 UK

"I consulted Rachel Jones in connection with my planning appeal. She came highly recommended, and was a crucial component of my succeeding. She quickly absorbed the issues and drafted the case, which I presented. She was focused and incisive, besides being cheerful throughout. Her advice, when sought, was both sensibly practical and reasonably restrained."

The Legal 500 UK

Rachel is a senior associate in the property team specialising in planning law. She advises public and private sector clients on (often complex) contentious and non-contentious planning matters.

She has published numerous articles in relation to the development of Guernsey's planning laws and guidance on its practical application.

Rachel was admitted as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales in 2005. She worked for a leading niche planning law practice in the UK before moving to Guernsey in 2010.  Before joining Carey Olsen in 2015, Rachel worked at another law firm in Guernsey.
