Ruth is a senior associate in the corporate and finance team. She advises clients on a wide range of corporate matters with particular emphasis on investment funds, financing and aviation law.
Ruth’s practice focuses on the establishment, management, structuring and restructuring of both open-ended and closed-ended investment funds as well as on general corporate and regulatory issues. Ruth also provides investor side advice, including the negotiation of tailored investment terms and confidentiality agreements.
Ruth has extensive experience advising lenders and borrowers in relation to finance arrangements particularly in respect of capital call and bridge facilities and aircraft and fixed asset financing.
Ruth also advises on all matters of Guernsey aviation law and regulation including in relation to the registration and taking of security over aircraft assets registered on the 2-Reg.
Ruth was admitted as a solicitor in 2007 and prior to joining Carey Olsen in 2010 practised with Dechert LLP in London where she specialised in the provision of advice relating to alternative investment funds.
