Samuel Wilson

Sam is an associate in the corporate group of Carey Olsen's Cayman Islands office. He advises on a broad range of banking and finance transactions.

Prior to joining Carey Olsen in 2026, Sam spent nearly a decade in the banking and finance teams of several international firms in London, advising sponsors, lenders, borrowers, agents and trustees on domestic and cross-border transactions across various industry sectors. He had a particular focus on leveraged and acquisition finance and also gained experience in bilateral and syndicated general corporate lending, inventory and receivables finance, real estate finance, restructuring and high net worth lending.

Sam holds a BA (Hons) in Economics with Hispanic Studies from the University of Nottingham and completed the GDL and LLM LPC at the University of Law in London. He qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2017.
