Solita Turner

Solita is an associate in the corporate group of Carey Olsen's Cayman Islands office. She advises on a range of corporate, investment funds and regulatory matters.

Prior to joining Carey Olsen in 2026, Solita worked as Legal Counsel for a large wealth management firm in New Zealand advising on a broad range of financial services matters, with expertise in the operation and management of investment funds, regulatory and compliance, corporate governance and commercial contracting. She previously worked as a Crown Prosecutor at Meredith Connell in New Zealand, where she prosecuted white‑collar and serious criminal matters, acted on behalf of regulatory bodies, and advised clients on regulatory issues, risk and compliance, and navigating complex regulatory frameworks.

Solita obtained a bachelor’s degree in law from the University of Auckland and was admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in October 2023.
