Yi is a senior associate in our litigation and insolvency team. With nearly a decade of extensive experience in offshore cross-border commercial litigation, Yi advises clients across diverse sectors in shareholder disputes, fund disputes, listed company disputes, cross-border insolvency and restructuring, asset tracing and recovery, and fair value appraisal actions in the Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands and Bermuda.

Career
Yi joined Carey Olsen in 2021, having previously worked at another leading offshore law firm in Hong Kong.
Yi is admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales, the High Court of the Eastern Caribbean and is a registered associate in Bermuda.
Yi holds a Master of Laws from the University of Bristol, a Master of Laws (with distinction) from the University of Hong Kong, and a Bachelor of Arts in Business English from the University of International Business and Economics in China.
Yi is fluent in English and Mandarin.
