Carey Olsen advises special committee on China Customer Relations Centers Inc.'s Take Private Transaction

Lawyers from Carey Olsen's corporate team in Hong Kong SAR have acted as British Virgin Islands (BVI) counsel to the special committee of the board of directors of China Customer Relations Centers, Inc. (CCRC), in relation to the take private of CCRC by Taiying International Inc, a BVI incorporated subsidiary of Taiying Group Ltd.

The take private transaction was effected by way of a merger which sees CCRC, a leading e-commerce and financial services business process outsourcing specialist in China, become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Taiying Group Ltd. It has also ceased to be publicly traded company on Nasdaq.

The Carey Olsen team advising the special committee of the board of directors of CCRC on the transaction, which was completed pursuant to the merger provisions in the BVI Business Companies Act, comprised partner Michael Padarin and legal manager Eason Huang.

The transaction represents the latest mergers and acquisitions deal our Hong Kong corporate team has advised on, and follows in the footsteps of the office's improved practice area ranking in the Financial and Corporate section of IFLR1000's 2021 Asia-Pacific Rankings.
