Carey Olsen associate is called to the British Virgin Islands' Bar

Carey Olsen associate Nyssa Christopher was admitted as an Advocate of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court on 23 January 2023, by the Honourable Justice Heather Felix-Evens. She was presented to court by Alex Hall Taylor KC, a partner at Carey Olsen in the British Virgin Islands (the BVI).

Nyssa is a member of Carey Olsen's corporate team in the BVI. She advises on banking and finance, economic substance, corporate restructuring, and voluntary liquidations. Nyssa was first admitted as a barrister in England and Wales in 2022, following completion of the LLM Legal Practice Course at BPP University in London. She started at Carey Olsen as a summer intern in 2015, before joining Carey Olsen as a paralegal in 2017 when she completed her law degree at The University of the West Indies, Barbados.
