
Carey Olsen and Entrust support QuantFi with Jersey VASP registration
Carey Olsen and Entrust have advised Coinmerce Group, a Dutch group of crypto platforms providing cryptocurrency exchange services across Europe, on the launch of its new Jersey entity QuantFi Limited ("QuantFi"), as a virtual asset service provider ("VASP").
Carey Olsen advised QuantFi on the legal and regulatory aspects of its VASP application to the Jersey Financial Services Commission, with Entrust providing its well established regulatory and compliance incubation for launching a new VASP on the Island.
The Carey Olsen team was led by partner Chris Griffin, assisted by senior associate Sally Meggitt-Smith and trainee Rory Pridmore.
