Carey Olsen advises Barings and Citibank on US$2.4 billion structured funding vehicle
Carey Olsen has advised global asset management firm Barings and leading global bank Citibank on a market-leading structured funding transaction for Coller Capital ("Coller"), the world's largest dedicated private market manager, to broaden fundraising for Coller's investments in private market secondaries.

The transaction builds on Coller's track record of raising capital through innovative structured solutions, with this being the firm's fifth issuance since 2020.
The Carey Olsen Cayman Islands corporate team advising on the transaction comprised partner Dylan Wiltermuth and associate Catriona Severns, alongside onshore counsel Cadwalader, Wickersham and Taft LLP
Dylan Wiltermuth commented: "We are pleased to have supported on this landmark transaction, a bespoke structured solution which demonstrates Barings and Citibank's innovative and forward-thinking approach to investment in the secondaries market and Carey Olsen's expertise in such matters."
