Elizabeth specialises in British Virgin Islands (BVI) law. Elizabeth has a broad range of experience in corporate, commercial and financial transactions. She also advises clients on structuring, forming and maintaining regulated investment funds as well as regulatory compliance in the BVI.
Elizabeth's advises on cross-border debt and equity financing, joint venture arrangements, IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, aircraft and other asset financing, continuations in and out of the BVI, corporate governance, corporate reorganisations, directors' duties and voluntary liquidations.
Elizabeth began her career at Dentons (in London) before moving to the British Virgin Islands in 2008 to work for Maples and Calder. Before joining Carey Olsen's BVI office in March 2014, Elizabeth worked in-house for TMF Group.
Elizabeth moved to Singapore when Carey Olsen's Singapore office opened in October 2015 and returned to the British Virgin Islands office in 2017.
Elizabeth was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 2006 (now non-practising) and as a solicitor in the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court (BVI) in 2008.
