Thomas is a Senior Associate in Carey Olsen Jersey's corporate team.
Thomas advises on a range of investment funds and corporate transactions, including the legal and regulatory aspects of fund structuring and operation, portfolio acquisitions, disposals and joint ventures and corporate reorganisations (including migrations). Thomas has particular expertise on the establishment, acquisition, financing and sale of Jersey vehicles (including JPUTs) holding UK and European real estate and real estate focused businesses.
Thomas' clients include FitzWalter Capital, EMK Capital, Schroders, Northtree Real Estate, Octopus Investments and Federated Hermes.
Career
Thomas was admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2009 and worked in London, including most recently at Eversheds Sutherland, for 10 years before joining Carey Olsen. During his time in London, Thomas spent time on secondment at both FTSE 100 asset manager Schroders Plc and FTSE 100 technology business Smiths Group Plc.
Thomas qualified as a Jersey advocate in 2023.
