Professional Support Lawyer (VA212)

We are looking to recruit a Corporate lawyer to build, manage and maintain the know-how and knowledge management function for the Cayman Islands corporate practice area.
Working with the Corporate Partners and the Group Director of Knowledge, the individual will be responsible for:
- Helping develop the knowledge strategy for the
department, and implementing wider knowledge projects e.g. document automation and
proof reading
- Monitoring legal and market developments and keep the lawyers up to date
- Creating, developing and managing/making easily accessible the department's collection of precedents and encouraging and managing contributions to know-how
- Helping to organise, design and deliver departmental legal and knowledge training
- Working with partners and the marketing team to identify relevant topics and support production of client alerts and thought leadership
- Responding to fee earner queries and research requests
The successful candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills, strong academics and top tier training, with experience in know-how or fee-earning in a leading firm. Individuals must be qualified in a recognised common law jurisdiction and have at least 3 years' post qualification experience.
