Aviation Finance
Our team advises on the laws of Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, Guernsey and Jersey from our global network of nine offices. We assist our clients in structuring cross-border aviation finance transactions and establishing leasing platforms and investment vehicles, with capability in both commercial and corporate aircraft.
Our lawyers advise on all types of debt, equity, lease, export credit, PDP, insurance-backed and capital markets deals, including ABS and EETC issuances.
We act for banks and other financial institutions, lessors, airlines, export credit agencies, manufacturers, funds, leasing companies and individuals.
For bankruptcy-remote orphan structures we partner with experienced corporate service providers who are recognised as leaders in the aviation sector. We provide a “one-stop” solution that gives our clients seamless access to leading global fiduciary and corporate services platforms.
Our team also advises on Cape Town Convention issues, aircraft registration (both temporary and permanent), and AOC applications and other regulatory matters.
We are trusted advisers to our clients in the aviation financing and leasing sector. The Carey Olsen team has onshore private practice and industry aviation experience and is supported by our investment funds and structured finance groups.
