Charlotte specialises in high value, cross-border commercial dispute resolution, and contentious regulatory work. She has particular experience in professional regulation, asset recovery, and investigations, shareholder and partnership litigation, and insurance and financial services disputes. In addition to commercial litigation, she advises on all aspects of contentious and non-continuous employment law.

Charlotte acts for senior executives, HNW individuals, institutions and companies. She has advised local and international clients on their involvement in litigation, regulatory investigations and internal and external risk mitigation.

Career

Prior to joining Carey Olsen Bermuda, Charlotte was a litigation associate at the London office of international law firm Gowling WLG (UK) LLP. Charlotte has also worked for Slaughter and May, and Sullivan and Cromwell LLP in their corporate departments, prior to being admitted as a solicitor of England & Wales in 2019. She has spent time on secondment to the legal team at Transport for London where she assisted in a range of contentious and non-contentious commercial matters.

Charlotte graduated from Queen's University, Belfast with a degree in Law in 2012. She also obtained a master's degree in international human Rights Law from the National University of Ireland, Galway in 2013. She subsequently completed the Legal Practice Course from Kaplan Law School in London in 2015. She was called to the Bar of Bermuda in 2023.
