Carey Olsen advises Islands Insurance Group on acquisition of Hepburns Insurance
Carey Olsen has advised Islands Insurance Group (Islands) on its acquisition of Hepburns Insurance (Hepburns), including its operations in both Jersey and Guernsey.
Islands provides insurance products and services to Channel Islands residents, private clients, corporates, and local businesses and Hepburns is a Channel Islands based insurance brokerage providing products and services to corporate businesses, professional practices, financial institutions and local companies.
The combined group will employ more than 180 people across the Channel Islands.
The cross-practice Carey Olsen team advising Islands was led by Jersey corporate partner David Taylor, assisted by Tim McAlpine-Scott. The Guernsey team was led by corporate partner Tom Carey, assisted by Jessica Dewsnip and Sukhvinder Chana, and specialist anti-trust advice was provided by Jersey corporate partner, James Willmott.
