International recognition for Carey Olsen’s funds team in the Cayman Islands

Our Cayman Islands office opened in 2012 and is led by five partners. It has a strong corporate and investment funds service offering which, in 2013, expanded to include specialist teams providing trust and private client, insolvency and litigation advice.
The office has developed a strong client portfolio and is a recognised provider of corporate and legal services to domestic and international banks, commercial and financial clients as well as to international law firms.
Recent transactional work includes advising West Face Capital Inc. on the launch of its $600 million special situations fund and advising on the first retail debt listing on the Cayman Islands Stock Exchange. We also advise a wide range of fund managers in the market and have received instructions from a global client base including China, Canada, Israel, the UK and the US.

Our Guernsey office was also successful in this year's Corporate International Legal Awards, winning Commercial Property Law Firm of the Year and Litigation Law Firm of the Year.
