Carey Olsen Asia achieves its strongest Chambers rankings to date

Carey Olsen Asia has achieved its strongest rankings to date in the Chambers Asia-Pacific 2024 Guide, with the firm moving up to Band 2 in the Offshore category and a number of partners from across its Hong Kong and Singapore teams achieving new and improved individual rankings.

Carey Olsen also has more partners ranked in the 'Offshore: Dispute Resolution' category than any other firm.

In Hong Kong, the Dispute Resolution and Litigation partners earned praise across the board, with Tim Haynes ranked in Band 2 for his "extensive experience in commercial litigation"; "practical and commercially minded" Jeremy Lightfoot moving up a Band; and Matthew Watson earning his first Carey Olsen ranking after joining the team in May this year.

Hong Kong managing partner Michael Padarin and Singapore managing partner Anthony McKenzie have both retained their long-standing rankings for 'Offshore: Corporate & Finance', with clients noting that "they combine strong technical skills with the ability to get a deal across the line".

Carey Olsen Singapore partner James Noble achieved yet another ranking for the Asia Dispute Resolution and Litigation team, and was lauded by his clients: "His extensive knowledge of the law, strategic acumen and leadership skills set him far above others."

Carey Olsen Hong Kong and Singapore work alongside Asia-Pacific's leading regional and domestic law firms and the world's largest international law firms to advise Asia-based clients on the laws of the British Virgin Islands (BVI), the Cayman Islands, Bermuda and Jersey.
