Carey Olsen recognised in China Business Law Journal’s China Business Law Awards 2026
Carey Olsen has been named a winner at China Business Law Journal's ("CBLJ") China Business Law Awards 2026, receiving recognition as Best Offshore Law Firm and for Family Wealth Management.
This marks Carey Olsen’s third year being recognised as Best Offshore Law Firm and its second consecutive year of recognition in the Family Wealth Management category. The firm also remains the only offshore law firm to be named in the Family Wealth Management category, reflecting its established track record in advising private clients and fiduciary structures on complex, cross‑border matters.
CBLJ’s China Business Law Awards are based on hundreds of nominations submitted by China‑focused corporate counsel and legal professionals from around the world. In determining the winners, CBLJ's editorial team carefully reviewed the nominations and supporting justifications alongside each firm's landmark deals, cases, and notable achievements over the past year.
As part of the selection process, CBLJ also consulted extensively with law firm clients and conducted numerous surveys to assess levels of satisfaction with the services provided by each firm.
Singapore managing partner, Anthony McKenzie, said: “Recognition in the China Business Law Awards is a strong endorsement of the quality of our cross‑border work and the confidence our clients place in us. These landmark transactions highlight the depth and expertise of our Asia teams, as well as our ability to support clients on complex, high‑value mandates in one of the world’s most dynamic and competitive markets.”
Hong Kong managing partner, Michael Padarin, added: "We are grateful to our clients and industry peers across China who have supported us with their nominations. To be recognised repeatedly across multiple categories is no small feat, and testament to the trust our clients place in us and the consistently high level of service we provide year on year."
