Hannah Diss

Hannah is a senior associate in Carey Olsen's corporate and finance team in London. She advises on the laws of the Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands across all aspects of finance, corporate, investment funds and commercial law. 

Hannah has a decade of legal experience including four years with Carey Olsen in the Cayman Islands. She was previously in the aviation finance team of a large, multinational firm in London, where she undertook a dual-language secondment to their UAE office. She holds the CISI Islamic Finance Qualification and is a member of the International Aviation Women's Association and 100 Women in Finance. 

Hannah graduated with an MA in Oriental Studies (Arabic and Russian) from Trinity College, University of Cambridge, and an LLB from the University of Law in London. 

Hannah was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 2014, as an attorney of the Grand Court of the Cayman Islands in 2018, and as a solicitor of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court, British Virgin Islands Circuit, in 2022.
