Rebekah Johnston

Trainee

Rebekah is a trainee within the Dispute Resolution and Litigation department, providing support in a multitude of matters including Personal Injury and Employment Law for both individuals and corporate clients. Rebekah also has involvement in Criminal matters and some aspects of Insolvency.

Rebekah frequently deals with conducting in-depth legal research and analysis of judgments. She also assists with drafting, knowledge and document management and collating information on niche areas to provide guidance to other members within the department.

Career

Rebekah joined Carey Olsen in 2017 and graduated from the University of London through their self-taught International Programme with a Second Class Honours (Upper Division) Bachelor in Laws in August 2022. Rebekah will qualify through the Solicitor's Qualifying Exam programme in 2023.

In January 2022, Rebekah became an Ordinary Member of the Police Complaints Commission and will hold this position until 2026. She also volunteers for the Youth Commission outside of work.
