Carey Olsen Asia secures strong rankings in Chambers Asia-Pacific 2026 Guide

Carey Olsen Asia has cemented its strong standing in the Chambers Asia-Pacific 2026 Guide, retaining its Band 2 ranking in the 'Offshore' category in addition to achieving a new individual entry for 'Offshore: Dispute Resolution' and an improved individual ranking for 'Offshore: Corporate and Finance'.

Singapore partner James Noble and Hong Kong partner Tim Haynes have maintained their Band 2 rankings in the 'Offshore: Dispute Resolution' category, with Hong Kong partner Matthew Watson retaining his individual ranking and Singapore partner Helen Wang entering the rankings as 'Up and Coming'.

Clients have described James as "my go-to offshore lawyer" and "a personable leader of a strong offshore practice", while Tim has earned praised as "a seasoned litigator…whose excellent case management skills ensure the very best results". Helen has been named "truly exceptional", recognised for her "outstanding legal expertise and business acumen", while Matthew is celebrated as "a very shrewd, wise and experienced head on young shoulders".

In the 'Offshore: Corporate and Finance' category, Singapore managing partner Anthony McKenzie has moved up in the rankings and Hong Kong managing partner Michael Padarin has maintained his strong position. In client feedback, Anthony is praised as "an excellent lawyer", who "strikes the perfect balance between technical legal excellence and commercial understanding", while Michael is described as "very responsive, knowledgeable and pragmatic".
