22 Carey Olsen lawyers recognised in 2024 edition of The Legal 500 Caribbean

22 lawyers from Carey Olsen's Bermuda, British Virgin Islands (BVI) and Cayman Islands practices have been recognised in the 2024 edition of The Legal 500 Caribbean, which has also ranked the firm in 18 different practice areas. Of those individually recognised, 10 lawyers have been ranked as 'Leading Individuals', eight as 'Next Generation Partners' and four as 'Rising Stars'.

Carey Olsen Bermuda Limited has achieved a new Tier 1 ranking for Regulatory and Compliance and has also maintained Tier 1 rankings for its Dispute Resolution and Trusts/Private Client practices. The Dispute Resolution team has been described by clients as being "highly skilled and responsive", offering "client care that is second to none", whilst the "leading private client/trusts services law firm in Bermuda" has been praised for its "outstanding experience and breadth of knowledge in the industry." The team has also maintained its Tier 2 rankings in Banking, Finance and Capital Markets; Corporate and Commercial; and Insurance/Reinsurance.

Carey Olsen (BVI) L.P. has this year earned a new Tier 2 ranking for Investment Funds, whilst improving its rankings for Banking, Finance and Capital Markets and Corporate and Commercial respectively. The team maintained its strong position for Dispute Resolution and Regulatory and Compliance. Carey Olsen Cayman Limited achieved another new ranking for its Real Estate practice, whilst its Corporate and Commercial practice has moved up a tier. The team has retained its strong position in Banking, Finance and Capital Markets; Dispute Resolution; Investment Funds; Regulatory and Compliance; and Trusts/Private Client. The firm has been praised as "fantastically innovative and a pleasure to work with" and as "market disrupters, looking to do things differently" which has "helped them to attract and keep the best talent."
