Who's Who Legal recognises nine Carey Olsen partners as experts in private funds

Nine Carey Olsen corporate partners have featured in the 2021 edition of the Who's Who Legal private funds guide.

Among the nine recognised, Ben Morgan, partner and head of the Guernsey corporate practice, is also the only Guernsey-based lawyer to be recognised as one of six 'global elite thought leaders' for the offshore region. Thought leaders – the publication says – are those individuals who received the highest number of nominations from peers, corporate counsel and other market sources, and have been identified by the research as being truly outstanding practitioners and the very best in their field.

The other eight partners to be recognised in Who's Who Legal: Private Funds 2021 are: Jarrod Farley (Cayman Islands); Christopher Anderson, Andrew Boyce, Tom Carey and David Crosland (Guernsey); Robert Milner and James Mulholland (Jersey); Jasmine Amaria (London).

Ben said: "For Carey Olsen to have nine of our partners recognised for their private funds expertise by Who's Who Legal serves as a ringing endorsement for the quality of work undertaken by our global investment funds practice as a whole. For me personally it is also an honour to be considered as a global elite thought leader for my private funds practice."

Since 1996, Who's Who Legal has identified the leading legal practitioners in business law based upon comprehensive, independent research. Nominees are selected based on independent survey work with general counsel and private practice lawyers worldwide.

The private funds guide concentrates on the international private funds legal market, and identifies the foremost practitioners around the world including fund formation specialists and regulatory experts who advise and assist clients in relation to alternative asset classes such as private equity, venture capital and hedge funds. The 2021 edition comprises fund formation specialists and regulatory experts from more than 350 law firms across 38 countries.
